I’m writing this on september 3rd 2026, 6 days after arriving here at adventures in mission in Gainesville,GA.

I don’t even know how to start this but what I can say is that the God is so good. we have around 136 people who are doing the race. Some 3 months, other 9 ( me), others 11 months, and what I can say that all leaders, squad members, and everybody here, all 136 racers are so hungry for Jesus, they want something more just like me and they are all here because they have a unique testimony and a unique story why they are here.

we are divided into squads by the countries you are going to, some are going to Nepal, Thailand, Europe Africa, South America etc..

My squad consists of 21 members, these young girls and young men are so kind, loving, and most importantly they are here because Jesus called their name. Each one of them has such a very beautiful story and a such a powerful testimony, and we are all so excited to go and share the gospel of Jesus Christ our savior.

Let me tell you more about training camp itself.

The way we do things here is a preparation for what it will actually be on all the different countries we are going to.

Few examples are: We have been camping out in the forest, sleeping in tents with all of our stuff like our big packs inside of it. ( I have been sleeping outside in the grass because I personally get to hot inside my tent and I can’t sleep). We only can shower like twice a week. We do have the option to do a “bucket shower “ I have not done it yet. We have to do laundry by hands with buckets and set them outside on a hanging line to dry.

Those are just some of the examples of what we are doing here to prepare for the mission field.

God has been working on every heart and every mind in here. My favorite part of my days is worship, is soo good, and this last six days during worship God has spoken to me like never before that I even broke down a few times. The sense of community here is just so unimaginable. We support each other and encourage each other. We are a family in Christ, even when we disagree we still reflect God through our arguments and disagreements.

I am super excited for everyone here including myself and I am super excited to go and share the good news of Jesus Christ. That’s why I’m here and I want to thank every supporter so far who has partnered with me.

I’m a little more than halfway funded which is roughly $11,000 I still need roughly $8,000 and I’m still looking for people who are willing to support me on my mission journey.

I’m excited for what the future holds for me and for my community and for all the countries we are going to which some of them have never heard the gospel.

The following countries we are going to : Guatemala, South Korea, Vietnam, South Africa, and Swaziland.

Thank everybody for the support

With love, John Fredy
